Our Mission
To glorify Jesus in rebuilding the city of Atlanta holistically through the Gospel, that it would be renovated spiritually, culturally, and physically.
We are not a building, but people, called together from all walks of life, races, cultures, and social classes, to worship Jesus. We are not a religious institution or denomination, but are defined much more broadly. We are a family of broken, wounded, confused, and doubtful people, transformed by the good news of what Jesus has done on the cross and is doing in the world. We are daily striving to be new ethnics, on a journey together, seeking the wholeness, completion, and meaning that we have all longed for, which is revealed in Jesus and His sacrifice for sin. We are committed to the truths of the Scriptures, the heart of Jesus, and daily dying to ourselves to follow Jesus more closely. We admit our fears, our faults, and our frailties and we acknowledge that it is only through the grace of God, and for His good pleasure, that we are called His.

City Groups
Renovation's City Groups will be the primary means for pastoral care, deep relationships, resourcing, discipleship, accountability, mentoring, mission, serving, community, and training. All are welcome: followers of Jesus, doubters, skeptics. A City Group is not just a small group, Bible study, support group, social activist group, or a weekly meeting. It can involve these sorts of things, but that is not all. There are three components of City Groups: 1) Gospel, 2) Mission, and 3) Community. We raise the issue of mission and solve it with the gospel in the context of community. When mission is the focal point, true community is naturally produced. Each City Group takes ownership of the needs, pains, hurts, struggles, and fears of the greater community that surrounds it because City Groups will be the primary means for Renovation to engage and serve Atlanta.
Launching a New Church
Renovation Church is a new church that has been putting its roots down in downtown Atlanta, we hope with your help.
Renovation Church began as a calling on one man, Pastor Leonce Crump II, 5 years ago, and has slowly grown by the grace of God, prayers, and the work of its early-adopters from a home bible study to the point where it is now: a thriving and growing center-city church in the heart of Atlanta..
Since May of 2010, we have been building community and training with the people who have invested and who feel God is leading them to be the architects of this church, using their God-given talents, skills and abilities, to be the ones who help shape this church.
What does this mean for you? We are praying and hope you will pray with us as to whether God is leading you to run with us and use your gifts and abilities for his glory in His church, in an area of downtown Atlanta that needs more vibrant, healthy, Jesus-centered and socially conscious people.
If you are already in community with a church and your skills are not being used, come use them here. If you have a strong desire, like us, to see the gospel of Jesus change hearts and lives in an under-served area, this is the place for you. If you are not currently a part of a church community, consider this your invitation to join a movement in the making.
We need musicians, artists, professionals of all kinds, marketers, web and IT, hospitality, trades, writers, thinkers, risk-takers, culture makers and caring hearts to see this dream become a reality.
